Hello?
Hi Mom, Chloe needs some STERN WORDS!
Ok, put her on.
Chloe?
Hi Mommy.
Are you being good for the boys?
Uh-huh.
Are you obeying them? (I am desperate this point - I've got to get her to be good or the boys will NEVER agree to watch her again!!!)
Yes.
Ok, well, you need to listen to them.
Otay Mommy (she's never gotten the OK right!!)
Ok, when I get home I want to hear that you were good.
Otay, I am being good.
I love you - see you soon.
Luv you Mommy.

Gotta love it.I agree do we get a part two to this story? What wewre they up to????
And the story is now blogging history to bring up at the right moment to embarrass her. Tee hee.
How fun!

Oh boy! (Or should I say boys??).
Too funny.
Great story! So funny!
I just love the phrase "stern words!" I hope everybody was in one piece when you got home!
yeah, what was going on that necessitated "stern words"? Inquiring minds want to know....
Yes, tell us more ...
lol...luv it! I'm sure she'll be able to keep all those boys in line!
So did you sort out the boys just as the princess required.
She is priceless and I am sure she has her brothers wrapped around her fingers.
Love it.
I can't wait until my 10-year-old can babysit. I think I used to babysit at 10, but mine is just not ready. I'd hate to think of the phone calls I'd get.
That is so funny. Never a dull moment when you have children.
So fill us in on the out come! ;)
I love it!! Wonder what exactly those boys were up to ? ! ? Let us know if you find out ;)
Hi Becky,
Thanks for stopping by our blog and commenting. Your site is great and you have a beautiful family. This phone conversation reminds me of many that I've had with my 4 year old Mia. The only difference is that she's usually telling on her daddy :0)

Oh dear, I get some similar phone calls when I leave Katia home with the kids. :) Tell the boys good job! Sounds like they were trying to maintain order and discipline just as you've taught them.
Just wanted to let you know that the Adoption BlogPost RoundUp round-up is up!
isn't it funny how that "otay" sounds so innocent, but really there are major plans going on in that little mind ...
Too cute! Hope the boys are still willing to watch her again!
LOVE it!
Hilarious!
And it looks like we all want to know what the REAL story was! Did you ever get to the bottom of things?
I can't wait to meet these kids! They are just too cool -- ALL of 'em!
Becky - that is a hoot! Really wish we lived closer - sounds like our kids have SO much in common!!!
Isn't it grand having built-in babysitters??!!
This is hysterical!!!! I cannot wait until I can leave the boys with Kate for a quick trip to the store. I am sure it is a long time away...

hey, our girls both say otay..I thought Piper was the only one who sounded like 'Nell', my DH used to say "o-tay-in the way" just like Nell, just to make me giggle! I guess Piper got him back with this one!
