Too Much Dora

We are getting ready to leave and I hear our precocious two year old singing, "Come on Vamanos, Everybody let's go, Come on let's get to it, I know that we can do it!! Where are we going? *Clap, clap, clap* The Grocery Store!! Where are we going? *Clap, clap, clap* The Grocery Store!!!" Then she yells, "Everybody sing with me!!" We look at each other and chuckle!! Hmmm, can you say, "Too Much Dora?!?!?"

Too much Dora makes for too much cute! Glad you commented on my blog so I can follow another Hunan spicy girl!!! What a beautiful family you make!

Love your videos! Seeing the room we also stood in four months ago was just too neat!

We haven't yet exposed Katie to Dora (or any other tv, for that matter), but it sounds like a great show.

Chloe is a real cutie, and I bet her big brothers think she's pretty neat as well!

Have to say that I'm not real sorry that my kids "missed" the Dora era. Although we had to "do" Barney and I think that was worse!

I want to know how you posted today with tomorrow's date????? :-)

Oops Jen - I do sometimes save them as a draft post and then change the date later when I post them so they are the top post - guess I forgot the date - I certainly don't need to rush things over here!!

At least they don't sing the grumpy ol' troll song and point to mommy!
Dora is one show that is unlimited
at our place. The fact that your 2 year old can say all that is reason enough to show how smart Dora is making them. Jealous.

That made me laugh out loud. We have just started Dora (graduated from Barney) so we shall see!

I'll come sing with Chloe! And I know all the words too! My oldest Olivia says Dora is for babies - she is so uncool. But we used to watch her all the time - together!
I'm in mourning for the passing of her younger years! Careful mom - you can never have to much Dora! Your time will come too! Enjoy her and her cute phrases because soon it will be "Don't you think Joshua is so cool?" or "I would never be caught dead wearing this."
If you need me I'll be watching Sesame Street.

That is hysterical. Wow, they really do soak all of that in, don't they?

Hannah will say "Back pack back pack" when I give hers to her to put on. I have to say that I would rather have Dora sung instead of Barney. I hate Barney. Comes from the years of working at a daycare.

I know you'll think I'm crazy, but those sweet little shows are one of the things I am excited to have back in my house when "Chinababy" finally comes. My stinky boys are too big to watch the "baby" shows anymore.

When you are harvesting your crops and forget to bring in a bundle of grain from your field, don't go back to get it. Leave it for the foreigners, orphans and widows. Then the LORD your God will bless you in all you do.
