AMEN!!
At dinner Chloe asked if she could pray and so Caleb said, "Sure Chloe, I'll help you. First tell Jesus thank you for your food." Chloe pipes up with her eyes squished tight and little hands folded in front of her, "You're welcome, Jesus." I had to laugh, I wonder how often Jesus is told You're Welcome!!! Guess we'll keep working on the praying thing!!

When you are harvesting your crops and forget to bring in a bundle of grain from your field, don't go back to get it. Leave it for the foreigners, orphans and widows. Then the LORD your God will bless you in all you do.

How I would love to be around your dinner table...soooo sweet.
I think God is smiling over the fact that His sweet Chloe just wants to talk to him (no matter what she has to say!)

Gotta love the mouths of babes.

Too sweet!!!
That is so very sweet!
That is innocence at it's very best. I bet Jesus loved hearing that very special "You're welcome"... I guess most especially when you look at what that really means- you are welcome- here, in my heart, in my life.
You know?
Too cute! I love to hear little ones pray.

What a profound glimpse into the world of a little one! I suspect that Jesus was delighted even more than her mommy and daddy were!

Lindsey's prayer always starts out: "I love my food, and it's goooood...." and then goes on to list things that we're eating and says thanks. But it always starts out with the same "I love my food and it's gooooood" in a sweet little voice.
Catching up on your blog this morning and enjoying each and every post. I LOVE that she said your welcome!
Once we had our Catholic priest over to dinner. My son volunteereed to say the blessing. He was in pre-school at a local Temple because there was no Cathopilc pre-school. He leaned over, covered his eyes and started praying IN HEBREW (the hamotzi).
These are the moments we need to write down so we don't forget.
