The Greater Bilby
Ok so you guys are all geniuses - well, MOST of you!!!! :) Yes - the Greater Bilby is something we happened upon awhile ago in a Children's book, of all things. Bilby Moon is that wonderful children's book - and yes, you all must RUSH right out and read it - Mr. Brian - we have it here at our library so you have NO excuse!!! (Wonder who that book buyer is?!?!!?) So, since we are famous, just had to share that tidbit with everyone. Hey, it's not everyday you have your name on a book!! Hope that provided some excitement to your day - thanks to all for playing along! Oh, and if you want EVEN more info. on that cute Greater Bilby click here. I think I feel a new pet coming on....

When you are harvesting your crops and forget to bring in a bundle of grain from your field, don't go back to get it. Leave it for the foreigners, orphans and widows. Then the LORD your God will bless you in all you do.

Oh how wonderful. I bet your kids are over the moon to have that book.
BTW this has to do with your post on Nikkis blog yesterday re: nail polish. Disney makes washable nail polish that comes off with soap and water and dries in a flash. Sorry wasn't quite sure where to leave this info but wanted to let you know. :)
Looks like such a cute book and I will be purchasing it as soon as I can find some extra cashola. (December wiped us out!)
Books????? Library??? never heard of either one.
OK maybe I will have to check it out, but there may be a big demand for it once word hits the streets of OC.
We'll definitly have to check that book out, since it's named after our famous Bilby friends! :)
You crack me up girl! 24/7 blogging, blogging.......
Saw some of these animals for real when we were in Australia. Believe me, the REAL Bilbys (the ones in the midwest, that is) are MUCH cuter! Although that book looks very cute too!
Wondering exactly how an animal and people got the same name?? Ever researched the origin of your last name?
