Lost is Found!!

Well - this is a good news/bad news post! The good news is we found our lost papers!!! They showed up at our house on Saturday!!! (They are not supposed to be at our house - they are supposed to be in Des Moines.......) But at least they are found!
So now we have to resend it all to Des Moines - BUT - we can move forward now - that is good!

We met with a board last night that we had applied for a grant from here in our area. We had a wonderful time of sharing and prayer with them. Even if God leads them not to give us any financial help - we still know that He will provide in another way. It just reminds me again that God is in control and His plan is perfect ~ AND those are good reminders for me!!

Well, remember poor Toni's (Sweet Peas) papers were lost and she waited and watched while everyone got their referral and came home with their babies. Now she knows that little Ruby wasn't even born yet when her papers were lost. It was hard, but she made it through and you will too. God is in control (trite sounding, I know, but hindsight is 20/20!).

I won't pray for patience for you (because it means God will make you wait!). I will pray for joy in the waiting so that the time will go by swiftly.

I know it's hard. We tried for 4 years to adopt again before Caroline came home. I kept busy with Peter after we were DTC so that I could focus just on him and not on the wait.

Becky,
I am so glad those papers are found. It's too bad they came to your house BUT at least you have an answer about starting over. Teresa is right--God does have just the right little one for your family and it's all in His time. You already know that but it can't hurt to be reminded occasionally.

Hope you can get this link from the Holt Board;

So glad to hear the papers have been found.
We know God has a plan for the perfect little girl to come live in Orange City with a wonderful loving family. Yes The Bilby's. What a lucky little girl she will be to come into a loving Christian home with three brothers and a sister who will love her so much.(Not to mention the rest of the family and friends as well).
I can hardly wait for her to sit by me in church so I can make her laugh too.

It will all fall into place following God's plan! Chloe's Mei-Mei is in His hands! I am so happy that you can move foward. I'll pray that there are no more delays for you!
Hugs,

So glad the papers were found--even if they weren't where they were "supposed" to be. Hopefully in a few years, you will be able to look back and see how God was working while those papers were "lost"!

Hoping the rest of the process goes quickly and smoothly.

When you are harvesting your crops and forget to bring in a bundle of grain from your field, don't go back to get it. Leave it for the foreigners, orphans and widows. Then the LORD your God will bless you in all you do.
