Morning Person
I will admit it - I have a horrible time getting up early. I am not motivated by a beautiful sunrise, cup of coffee (and I LOVE coffee), or much of anything else!!! So - I have to work at this - that is why I must go public and announce that I got up EARLY today!! Joe left for work - and I got up!! I can hear the applause now!! I got up, made a pot of coffee, ate my new Caribou Coffee granola bar (yes, those almost could entice me to get up early everyday!!!) and read. It was a quiet, relaxing morning - while it lasted! Now I have four awake and ready to "take on the day". So -Ready or Not - here I go to take it on with them!

When you are harvesting your crops and forget to bring in a bundle of grain from your field, don't go back to get it. Leave it for the foreigners, orphans and widows. Then the LORD your God will bless you in all you do.

Ok......LAZY.....my alarm goes off every morning at 5:30AM....I have my coffee and totally get ready for the day. (once school starts it will be around 5:15AM!) I can't function with kids if I just roll out of bed when they do.....I gotta get a jump-start!
Cold water splashed on my face, MAJOR java WITH my vanilla cream and a breath of fresh air! C'mon Anaconda Mama....get with the program! :) Maybe Joe needs to sing to you!
I just have to ask if the Caribou Coffee bars are laced with ground coffee beans??? If so, I'm sure you could get a really good start EVERY day at that God aweful early time. Personally, I have worked evening shifts for most of my adult life and I don't do early either. I start my day with Mya's cry and then we lounge around in our pajamas until we absolutely have to leave the house. I can get a lot done in my PJs. In my own defense, I did work day shift for about 3 or 4 years a couple years ago and I have to admit that a good strong cup of Folgers can get me going and yapping a blue streak. Doesn't matter what time I rise, I hit the coffee and go from there.
