Ok - I know pride isn't good but I have to say I'm proud of my Micah!! When he started taking guitar lessons he said, "Ok, but I'm saying this now - I AM NOT PLAYING IN CHURCH - that is too embarrassing." So - we haven't pushed him - but when our music director asked him to play this Sunday night for our Harvest Dinner - he said he would!!! He put a lot of work into it as he didn't know all of the chords yet. But he did such a good job and I am proud of him - it's a great start and we'd love it if he kept it up - just had to share his debut!!!

Just to confirm it.... mom is not bragging he did do a great job. I was very proud he would get up in front of20 plus people and play. He is braver then I would be.
Way to go Micha.
Mr. Brian
That is so cool. Mr. Brian is right, it takes courage to play in church. Can I be proud all the from up here? It's always great to see our kids do something for the Lord.
Way to go Micha! Getting up in church is never an easy thing to do! Emmie can agree with that one!
Keep up the good work! :)
What a great job! So exciting to see a skill and talent developed and then use it for God's glory!
My 38yo hubbie is learning to play, and he wonders if he'll ever be brave enough to play at church!
That's funny Karen - my husband is learning too and you notice he wasn't playing up their either - but then I'll admit he probably would've like to have been - he was singing instead!! Mr. Brian said it was 20 plus people - I think he left off a zero - we actually have around 200 people!!
yeah i did leave off the zero. Sorry folks it was 5:30 a.m. I was getting ready to go to work.
But again he did a wonderful job.
Mr. Brian
Just wanted to say that Micah has
some pretty proud grandparents too! I think he gets his musical
talent from his mother and
grandpa!!!
Keep it up, Micah!!!
