We Are Here

We got here today (Friday in China) at 1:30 pm. We are whipped! That flight is almost impossible to sleep on and we didn't get a whole lot of sleep the night before we left. So we are hoping we crash tonight. We get to do a half day of sightseeing tomorrow - we are excited about that. Shanghai is simply amazing - 20 million people - tons of traffic - WOW! We will enjoy our sightseeing. (Although it is QUITE warm here - I am trying to smile and just glisten - but Joe is laughing at me - I feel like I'm MELTING!!! I promised Joe I would try not to be crabby in this heat!!)

We are thinking we are just going to take it easy tonight - go to bed early for our sight seeing tomorrow.

Already missing you guys - Micah, Caleb, Aaron and Chloe - I kept thinking all day of what you would be doing at that time! I pray all is well and we hope to Skype you later tonight before we go to bed! (So if you hear the computer ring - answer it!)

We have a work around for Blogger so so far are able to post from China yeah!!! But we have a back up plan if it doesn't seem to keep working for us. We are feeling the prayers - all of our luggage got here and I didn't get sick on the plane! Now for the Chinese food.... :)

Covering you guys in prayer! Glad you got there safe and sound. I know it's HARD to be away from the kiddos, but it's best for just the two of you to be there for Miss Jada. Looking forward to following your journey! Love, Adrienne

Just got back from ice cream with the kids.what fun and how polite they all are.
On the way home Chloe said to me,Mr.Brian tell Caleb to be nice to me,he hit me.I asked about it and it was a light elbow tap, from a slug bug. I told them that was not allowed around Mr.Brian.Find out it was yesterday.
Me and my fine parenting skills said, no more be nice, smiled and let them go in the house.
LOLOLOLOL! Jill will be there soon and there were no tears or blood.

When you are harvesting your crops and forget to bring in a bundle of grain from your field, don't go back to get it. Leave it for the foreigners, orphans and widows. Then the LORD your God will bless you in all you do.
