Happy Birthday Caleb

When we first found out we might be travelling on 9-9 - I was sad knowing it was a birthday in our house - BUT God saved us almost $1000 a ticket AND allowed us to stay home one more day to celebrate with our 13 year old!Caleb is quite the kid! We are SO glad God gave him to us!! This guy always has a smile - he LOVES animals and kids and has been quite the bud to Chloe! (She has already warned that she's NOT sharing him with Jada!!) Caleb is our man that we almost lost at 9 months old, and we are grateful to God sparing for his life so that we could enjoy more wonderful days with him! We love you, Caleb - you are a special son!

Oh Becky!
What precious kids you have! I know how hard it will be to be gone from them, even for such an amazing reason! On our trip, I left a jar of Hershey kisses for each of our kids, so they could have a goodnight kiss from me each day we were gone. They don't usually have candy at bed time each day, but it was one little special thing I could do to help us feel closer :)
I left other presents too, and I think it helped a little (at least it helped my aching heart to go)

Oh yeah!!! Isn't God just amazing. I love the Chinese header. Beautiful. Can't wait to watch your journey to Jada. And wow - a teenager. I can't even imagine that even though we're only a year & 1/2 away. I'll just keep learning from you guys. ;0)

Happy Birthday, Caleb!!

When you are harvesting your crops and forget to bring in a bundle of grain from your field, don't go back to get it. Leave it for the foreigners, orphans and widows. Then the LORD your God will bless you in all you do.
