God's Bed
Last night - I was walking by Chloe's room and heard our youngest son, Aaron, telling Chloe, "It's Ok, you don't have to be scared because God is with you. The Bible tells us that, so you don't have to be afraid." Chloe said, "Ok Aaron." And Aaron left the room to go to bed as well. I walked in behind him to give Chloe her THIRD kiss and hug of the night, and she looked up at me and said so seriously, "Where is God's Bed?" Well, I guess that's a good point, if He's there with her all night - He probably needs a bed!!!

When you are harvesting your crops and forget to bring in a bundle of grain from your field, don't go back to get it. Leave it for the foreigners, orphans and widows. Then the LORD your God will bless you in all you do.

So did you make Him a pallet? I love the stuff kids come up with. That is really cute.
How totally precious! That's one to write down for sure! ;)
Out of the mouth of babes. That is precious!!

That is so sweet!
That is so sweet! I love how kids think :-)
What a sweetie..oh, and big brother too. Tell her He likes to cuddle so He will just snuggle in with her : )
Oh, that is so cute! I love it when they do that kind of stuff!
That is so cute. What a good brother Aaron is. That's a pretty good question about the bed thing too. I had never thought about it.
Hugs,

Oh that is priceless.. there is just nothing like the innocence of children. That needs to be in that book "Children's Letters to God"...
aww that was so worth sharing! How sweet! =)
That is so cute!
And by tomorrow night he will probably have one, made just for him by Chloe.
I love the innocence at this age.
Ok that is like way to smart for a three year old.
It should show you your teaching the word to your kids has paid off.Good job mom and dad.
This is my first comment on your blog. Your little angel is precious and your family very sweet.
We are in the same DTC group for mei mei! 6 months down... (LID January 15th) and almost for you too:-))
Take care.
How precious.... I love that he was looking out for his little sister..... must have melted your heart.
My heart would have exploded after that!
Your kids (ALL of them) are just AMAZING.
I love how secure Aaron is already in his faith and how he is passing that on to his little sister.
You and Joe ROCK for raising such incredible kids.
What a great brother to share his faith!! One of my very favorite things is watching Oakley say her bed time prayer and then make the sign of the cross before she says amen. She takes great pride in doing this and it's, admittedly, too adorable for words.

I just found your blog and I had to comment! That is the most precious, sweetest, funniest and most logical thing(to a small child) I have ever heard! You have a beautiful and blessed family.

i love how they are so literal ... their FAITH is so real and visible..
I have to agree with Gwen, kids expect God to do what we do. Great big brother to assure her all would be well. Your kids are so cool.
Aww that is so sweet. Kids say the cutest things.
She is a precious girl and I bet you are constantly learning from her
