When you are harvesting your crops and forget to bring in a bundle of grain from your field, don't go back to get it. Leave it for the foreigners, orphans and widows. Then the LORD your God will bless you in all you do.

OMW!! Do I have to put treasure in our woods if/when they come to visit?? I take it they are not afraid of ticks. So, they can camp in the backyard too. Looks like they had a lot of fun.
I would LOVE to try that. I always liked orienteering in school, so.....
Glad they are having fun!
Ok, looks like they're having fun, but what exactly are they looking for? Who sets these things up? Just curious!
that looks like so much fun!!!
That looks like fun. Such an adventure!
What is it? I bet my boys and hubby would like it. Hubby is a goeologist..and this sounds geological.

We have done it but not for a while. You have motivated me to put it on our list of things to do.
Since you all have been asking what Geocaching is - you can click on the word Geocach on the post and it will take you to the website that explains it - it's like a treasure hunt but you use GPS units. People have hidden "caches" all around - they log them on the internet and then you plug those coordinates into your GPS unit and go find them! They think it's very fun!
Our family has tried this before. It is very much a guy thing. People really get into. It really is like looking for little treasures. You can take what you find but you must replace it with something new or just take a peek at it and put it back. I have even heard of people putting them in their yards and watch as people try to find it. I guess they are all over the world.
I have no idea what you are talking about. Apparently I need to google it! lol Or have your boys explain it to me in a few a days!
I heard of that last year and then forgot about it. Thanks for the reminder, my son would love that!
Looks like they're having a great time!
Looks like something my boys (or at least a couple of them) would love to do. Me - not so much.
I think it looks like great fun and something they are enjoying doing together. Have a great 4th of July!!
Abby loves to dig, too! And I noticed Chloe had her purse with her. A girl's got to accessorize - even in the woods!
That is awesome boy stuff!! And digging in the dirt, very much fun for a girl!!
I've never heard of that before - thanks for the new idea! Looks like fun!
Have a GREAT HOLIDAY!
Looks like good, clean, tick on your back family fun!
I have heard so much about this, we need to try it.
I think Chloe had a great idea.
Wayne and Sarah would love this. I'll have to check it out!
Nice way to have fun and learn too. I homeschooled my kids who are grown now, but I wish I had known about caching then.
Here is our blog if you'd like to look. lots of caching links.
