I was sharing this book with Verna today and she said, "You've got to do a post about this book." SO I AM!!!!
Is there a book that your child brings to you to read over and over??? This one is ours right now - Grumpy Bird by Jeremy Tankard - and I have to say - it STILL makes me smile EVERY TIME!!! We can't keep it in at our library either. Oh, and my favorite?? I took it to read at HeadStart and when I was done - ALL of the kids were raising their hands to take it home - it's that good!!!
So when you are having a grumpy day - this IS the book for you!!!

That is too funny! One of Lily's new phrases right now is "I'm bwumpy" (aka grumpy)...I guess I need to buy it!!!! You always have the best book advice!

I bought 5 books (including grumpy bird, scaredy squirrel, and "I don't have your eyes" through your blog. Also bought ( as it came highly recommended with a Christian perspective) "Before you were mine, discovering your child's life story". Thanks for the grumpy bird review. I have had a grumpy girl on my hands today!
you never cease to amaze me w/your book knowledge ... I have to admit I am a bad reader to my children ... We look at pictures but their patience and my impatience don't mix ... I am going to try and do better because I love to read and I want my children to love it also ... Love Ya !!!
I needed this book yesterday. Mallory was grumpy and this would have been a fun book to read. I might just have to order it. We are huge book lovers here. Thanks for recommending it.
