Root Canal

It's the big day!!! My ROOT CANAL is finally here!! Yes, I am prepared - the laundry is done, the house is clean, and there are 5 casseroles in the freezer - GOTCHA!!!! (You know me better than that!!!) Nope, I am sitting here blogging instead of cleaning or making casseroles. BECAUSE I am hoping that I will come out of there feeling just fine - here is the only problem - I have no pain going in!!! Yup, I have to have a root canal and I am not even in any pain - guess that's what he meant when he said the nerve was already dead. Doesn't sound good, does it!?!? I know- I keep trying to forget that I have to go in later today and the boys keep asking me what time the root canal is!?!?! And then, my dear husband, sends me an email to tell me he's praying for me - little do they know that I am TRYING TO FORGET!!!!

So yes, I'll take prayers - I am being a wimp over here! It's paybacks for all the times I've told my kids, "It's just a dentist appointment - it's not THAT bad!!!"

The crown they put on the root canal I had 15 years ago is a bit loose and so I just made an appointment to get it looked at and remembered back to when I had the work done. It really wasn't as bad as everyone made it out to be! You'll do great and not feeling pain sounds like a good thing to me! Praying for a smooth, peaceful and painfree afternoon! :)

Poor you! I'm a big baby when it comes to pain - especially dentist induced pain.
I hope it goes by quickly!

Becky - Your Uncle Jon had a terrible dread of the dentist! Maybe this is a genetic thing? I hope it goes well!

Praying for you Becky!!! I hope it is the easiest dental appt you've ever had!
I joined a new homeschool group online...it is really neat...you'd like it...it is called The Homeschool Lounge...You build pages there too...you might want to join and I'll just bet you'd get a lot of business from over there....I had one person tell me how beautiful my "other "blog was....(The one you created)....and even asked me how I put the frames around my pictures. The web address is: www.thehomeschoollounge.com You can find me listed as "Denise C" I just joined it a day or two ago... so I really do not know much about it...but it appealed to me because it was dealing with homeschool.
Let me know if you what you think.
Have a blessed Easter my sweet friend!!!

When you are harvesting your crops and forget to bring in a bundle of grain from your field, don't go back to get it. Leave it for the foreigners, orphans and widows. Then the LORD your God will bless you in all you do.
