Nuggets

It's my two nuggets of knowledge today!!

1st - I JUST GOT IN THE MAIL - Grace Lin's newest book - Bringing in the New Year - and I LOVE IT!! I know, just because I always love a Grace Lin book doesn't mean I always will, but yes, again, she has done it!! This is a fun children's read on Chinese New Year - in very simple terms she prepares for the big holiday. And, as usual, her illustrations are ALL THAT AND MORE!!! If you are interested in purchasing it through Amazon - click on my link here and it does go toward our next adoption!

2nd - A Christmas gift I couldn't live without (or at least I would miss it greatly!!). And yes, I'll admit RIGHT OFF THE BAT, that I am probably the only wife in the world that wanted a mouse (yes, I would love a LIVE one too -that's another story) for Christmas. BUT, I did. I am totally loving my Logitech MX Revolution mouse.
So there are my tidbits for the day - for what it's worth!

Wow! That is nice. You will love the wireless mouse.
My curiosity has been peaked however. What's with the live mouse comment? Are you harboring a secret longing for- ew - mice, rodents, voles, gerbils, etc.?

Yes, Linda, I'll come clean - I met a pet rat once that I fell in love with - ever since I have hoped to have one of my own. I know it won't happen - but it's fun to dream!!! :)

Wow, that is quite a mouse! I'm surpirsed my son hasn't bought one yet. (That will probably be next.) Okay, I too want to know what the live mouse thing is all about. If you come out to the farm here, you could probably catch yourself a real live, furry, gray one. We try to run them down with the lawn mower in the spring!! (Sorry all you animal lovers.)

I love Grace Lin and would love to have all of her books...however, overspending at Christmas will not allow that to happen quite yet. Thanks for always keepin' us in the "know".
Love your new mouse. (much better than a real one)
I still find it so funny that you like bugs, rodents, and snakes. Your boys must LOVE that about you.

Hey, thanks for the book info, I may have to get that one before the new year! Now, if you want some mice, I hate to admit it but you should come over to my house. In the 7 years we've lived here we've had very few...until this year! Yuck! Yikes!

Oh I am going to have to order that book now. I love her books. It's funny that you mentioned being the only wife wanting a mouse because my birthday is in March and I told my husband the other day I really wanted a new mouse for my computer. :) So, you are not alone.

I think you should be the new blog fairy too. You can do it, hey you could make a new one for me...a spring themed one. :)

When you are harvesting your crops and forget to bring in a bundle of grain from your field, don't go back to get it. Leave it for the foreigners, orphans and widows. Then the LORD your God will bless you in all you do.
