Fall Favorite

For lack of wonderful posts this week, I found my favorite fall photo - so far!! SO thought I'd share it. I just love that little smirk -
Leon cooked again for us last night - sorry, no pictures. Crab soup - absolutely wonderful (and I am not normally a fish fan!!!) My boys, again, loved it - Micah says it rivals Grandma's potato soup!!! Hmmm, wondering if maybe the way to keep Leon in the U.S. is to have him become my personal chef!!! Now, my favorite is still the black chicken and mushroom - but what is there not to love about black poultry and fungus!??!! :) (That was for Joe!)

Yes, we passed the nine month - waiting mark this week. That is quite a wait - and Joe so nicely pointed out today that unless the CCAA speeds up tremendously OR unless we are given a waiting child - we are looking at AT LEAST another year - WOW - I guess this is when you trust that God's timing is best!!

Oh, I love this photo. That little smirk is priceless and the colors are perfect!

I say try and see if Leon can stay...if he can't stay in one place that long then feel free to send him South LOL

Love the pic!

It isn't fair that we've had Jaden in our arms for 3 months and we had almost the same LID, does it? Life isn't fair. But thankfully, God is, and His plan is much better than ours...if harder. You're little girl will come home at the perfect time, I know it's SO HARD but try to remember that. God is faithful. Prayin' for ya!

That picture is AWESOME!!!! Chloe is just too cute for words. Even her face is full of sweet personality!

Glad you are enjoying Leon's cuisine...I am a bit jealous.

Congrats on 9 months - you are getting there...slowly yes, but surely. It is hard to wait, isn't it????

Oh that smirk is adorable! As for the waiting, it is extremely hard. We have been matched with a WC, and have been waiting for our LOA for 10 1/2 weeks! If it doesn't come soon, I will need to purchase two seats on the plane just for my big ole bootie! ......mmmmmmmmmm chocolate......

Ok, so maybe I'm a little behind here..but when did Chloe join your family and when you adopt again, will she be a baby, toddler, child...or maybe you don't know?

Absolutely adorable picture! How nice to get these authentic meals. We actually loved the food in Hunan. We haven't gotten anything here that even compares to what we had there. Some other friends tell us the food they ate in their province was not as good, so I guess it depends on where you are.

Love this photo and her facial expression!

When you are harvesting your crops and forget to bring in a bundle of grain from your field, don't go back to get it. Leave it for the foreigners, orphans and widows. Then the LORD your God will bless you in all you do.
