They're for you, Mommy!!

I have always wanted my boys to bring me flowers from the yard - it was one of those dreams that just sounds fun. So my heart melted today when Chloe came in and said, "Look Mommy, one for you and one for me!!" Yes, I oohed and aahed over them - as the boys watched on to see what I would do - you see, they were my prized HOSTA flowers!!! Ok, I'll admit, I did take her out and show her which flowers she may and may not pick - but I still had to smile - I can not imagine my life without a daughter!!

10 seconds after a tulip bloomed at our house i would pick it for mom.
I still enjoy bringing her lilacs if my bush has any.
Bless Chloe's heart what a great thought.

too cute!! I made a clover tiara for Oakley last week during the 100+ degree soccer game we were suffering through, and she wore it like a princess. I'm loving all things girly, which is a bit of a surprise to me. Truly, I never cared much at all about Disney princess, but by gosh, if Cinderella isn't the most lovely thing:).

Oh how sweet! I usually get weeds from the girls, but that's because I don't have a very green thumb...except when it comes to weeds!

girls are awesome! They just understand mommy! I'm much more into the girlie things now that Abby's around... lip gloss, toe nail polish, jewlrey... the list goes on. I love my little girl!

So cute! I've been trying to train Hannah to only pull off the "not-so-good-looking blooms that need to be cut anyway" flowers! ;) Of course, that will only work for a short time.

How can you yell at them when they do that?? It's so sweet. Funny how the boys were watching your reaction. Oh the lessons we teach from being watched.

How precious. Daughters are a blessing! I am excited to come back and read more about homeschooling. We homeschool too, and love it, but I haven't looked into curriculums yet.

Flowers picked by your children are priceless!!! They'll grow back again next year so don't fret about them too much. Your hostas don't deliver them to you with such a sweet smile do they?

How sweet.
Good luck with that, I've tried many, many times to tell the boys which to pick/not pick...it doesn't matter, they always pick my roses.
I guess it's just something that's meant to be...and that's ok. :D

When you are harvesting your crops and forget to bring in a bundle of grain from your field, don't go back to get it. Leave it for the foreigners, orphans and widows. Then the LORD your God will bless you in all you do.
