WOW! That was a great video! I, also, got teary eyed on that one! It is just so sad what goes on over there. I can't even imagine. I feel I as well need to do something about it and hope some day I can make a difference.

Thanks Becky! I am writting this looking through tears. Every time I see or hear this it just pulls at my heart.I cannot give all you families enough praise for opening your hearts and home to these very special gifts from God.
I am thinking you need to have that video shown in church when you bring little Johanna Brian home from China next time. I do not think there would be a dry eye in church.Between that video and Joe talking and then you sing a song I should have enough vapors shed for a year.
God bless you as you await your next child,Johanna Brian.LOLOLOLOLOL!!!!! Hmmm what do ya think of her name?????

ok becky forget my email about being detached this time from the COP list. i just bawled at the thought of maggie being in china without me. can you email the video, so i can send out to all the selfish people that won't adopt.

Gwen - how true is that - as I was typing up a grant app. tonight - I was thinking - why is it that those that feel called are the ones that can't afford it?!?!? So many others could and never feel that tug - sad.

just so you know, ladies, I wrote to Oprah asking for $ to adopt again (no kidding). If she comes through, I'll start a list of all who want to adopt, but don't have $ & I'll send it to her. The video reminded me that when Mia is really upset, she still cries SILENTLY. Oh so sad.

Gretchen - I tried that the first time - desperation!?!?!? It didn't work for me but if she comes through for you - add my name to your list!!!! :) She did a whole show on Chinese Adoptions - I thought for sure she'd come through - nope!!!

I hear you - the "crying silently" thing got me too - even though sometimes Chloe cries - not-so-silently!!!! :)

Wow, Becky! Very poweful video, and that is one of my very favorite songs too.
I want on Oprah's list too -- I have dreams of her funding our next adoption.

You've got it, ladies! I'll let you know when (that's when) Oprah calls me. You'll be on the list I give her.

When you are harvesting your crops and forget to bring in a bundle of grain from your field, don't go back to get it. Leave it for the foreigners, orphans and widows. Then the LORD your God will bless you in all you do.
