Gingerbread Saga Continues

So after seeing Jan Brett - of course we had to make our own gingerbread cookies.  We had a fun night - and it didn't take hours - that's nice!  We used the recipe in the book, Gingerbread Friends, and they were SO yummy!

I had fun catching up. Looks like you had fun with Jan Barett and what fun making cookies. I almost wanted to cry because from the looks of it Jan was in our town and I totally missed it. Oh bummer ... as Shane would say.

Hey Becky! :)
We're huge Jan Brett fans here too! We are using her website, http://janbrett.com/, as a springboard for unit studies for Emilee and Jac. There's a lot of things you can print and create on it. Maybe you already know about it. ;) We're doing quite a bit with Gingerbread Friends and are looking forward to making those cookies next week!

When you are harvesting your crops and forget to bring in a bundle of grain from your field, don't go back to get it. Leave it for the foreigners, orphans and widows. Then the LORD your God will bless you in all you do.
