New Outfits and a Photo Shoot

Grandma and Grandpa found us these adorable outfits and we wanted to show them how cute the girls looked....but sometimes photo shoots don't really capture it.....

 UNLESS you are Chloe - where there is never a bad picture!!

 Jada thought she was in Disney again!

 I do love this one of my squirrely girls!!

 And this one brings a smile to my face!

 And then we told Jada to stand up tall and smile....

 Tried again.....

 And again....

And by this point I was laughing so hard it was hard to get the camera to focus!

But the good ones are worth it!! 

So Grandma and Grandpa - thanks for the cute outfits and the MANY good laughs - Mom needed that!!

Performance Day!

Chloe's summer of baton and flag practice paid off today!  She had her big performance!  What a riot to watch!  And notice Miss Smiles!  I asked her if they were told to smile and her response was, "Well of course mom, when you perform you MUST smile!"

The Gift that Keeps on Giving!

This gift - led to this....

HOURS of fun - and I do mean HOURS!  And MOST of it was fun!!!  Grandma, Dad and Mom were nearly loony - but hey, if we use it once a year, it's still a good purchase, right!?!?!  :)

8 Years Old - UNBELIEVABLE!!!!

I miss each stage that you went through....

And as much as I miss seeing you little - I love to see you grow!!

Seven Years Ago....Don't Blink!

Where does the time go??  Seven VERY SHORT years ago we were blessed to see our Chloe face-to-face for the very first time.  We call it Gotcha Day - no matter the controversy - we like it and it's what we know it as.  :) 

This little one has been a joy from day one - some days I am still sad that, as her mom, I had to miss the first 6 months of her life.  But most days all I see is this fabulous little face that I am SO grateful to get to spend from 6 months on .......

 Love that little attitude - it has carried her far and will continue to.....

It sure does go fast! Even to reminsce through pictures just takes my breath away at how quickly this precious gift has grown. We are so blessed.  SO grateful that seven years ago we were given you....

In My Big Pink Boat....

We have had quite the weekend over here - next week Chloe is special person and we needed to make posters for her to hang up showing what she likes, things about herself, etc.  That took most of Saturday morning to find photos, make the posters, etc.  Hmmm, this homeschooling mom is remembering why she's always home schooled!! :)

AND, we needed to make a boat for Jada to take to Kindermusik on Monday.  So here is Jada in her boat, which, I might add, she has hardly gotten out of ALL weekend!!  She's pretty proud!
